I admit I was one of the people twerking in a Las Vegas hallway at 1:30 a.m. to Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and “Black Widow” in 2014.
So when Iggy announced that she had joined OnlyFans to post exclusive content for her latest project, “Hotter Than Hell”, I became tastefully excited.
She said in a statement to Variety, “Granted, I never knew OnlyFans was a place where I could be creative, so I never expected to collaborate with them on my biggest project yet! “
“Once I looked beyond the superficial chatter about what it means to have an OnlyFans, I realized it was the perfect platform to launch a multimedia concept,” she added.
“I’m thrilled that I don’t have to worry about the overwhelming and creative censorship that artists have to deal with when sharing their work on other digital platforms.”
“The project is bold and fun – just like this collaboration – I think it’s going to surprise a lot of people.”
According to the announcement, Iggy’s “Hotter Than Hell” is a year-long project that will consist of uncensored photos, videos, collaborations with visual artists, exclusive merchandise and content, all drawing inspiration from the ’90s pioneering “central models” Pamela Anderson, the fluidity of sexuality and Madonna’s infamous ‘Sex’ book.”
Iggy’s new “slut era,” as she described it on Jan. 13 Tweeter, is a change of tone from what she said in a now-deleted tweet on OnlyFans in April 2021, writing, “I think only fans can be really empowering to people, but I will NEVER do that, EVVVER will join me.” She continued, “I don’t want to do this type of content and it just blows the bag for the people out there who really have this life. Well done to the bad guys though!!!!”
Now, the “Sally Walker” rapper joins the ranks of other celebs jumping onto the adult platform, including Cardi B, Bella Thorne, Denise Richards, Carmen Electra, Blac Chyna and Bhad Bhabie.
You better secure that bag, Iggy!
